EPA & DHA Differences

It is not about just Omega 3 fatty acids or just plain old fish oils that we should be seeking at the local pharmacy. You need to load up on fish oils that contain high levels of EPA and DHA. We get sold on the idea that omega 3 is in all kinds of our foods so we are healthy, but that is just all just marketing and ignorance at work. If possible you should obtain fish oils that contain high milligrams of both EPA and DHA not just omega 3 fatty acids. It is recommended to intake 1000mg of EPA and 1000mg of DHA daily for optimum benefits to your physical and mental health. EPA is a strong anti-inflammatory and DHA has strong benefits in the mental capacity development. Both go hand in hand and are not mutually exclusive and you should not be taking just DHA or EPA, the combination of the two is most beneficial.
