For those of you who read the title and thought it was a big joke, encluding myself when it read it for the first time, we are poorly mistaken! Rafael Ríos has now been established as the go-to man in charge of several government funded projects aimed at social well-being in Venezuela. He also holds responsibility over a collaborative social happiness project with Cuba as well. Sounds like he should be a very happy and busy man this week =)
Venezuela is hoping to make some upward movement on the United Nations happiness ranking list after it’s recent 20th place finish. They are seated relatively nicely when considering the super powers of Great Britain at 22nd and USA at 17th spot aren’t fairing too well even with all their majestic superiorit. The government of Venezuela feels that the work they are establishing now will pay dividends in the GDP growth and other social determinants in the years to come.
Does this sound like a role that needs to be filled in all the the G20 countries?
