The amount of anxiety and tension that one individual can cause in the lives of North Americans is sickening. And of course, because fear and drama grabs more attention and more clicks than other more positive news stories, I doubt my newsfeed will have any less content about this person in the coming months. It really leaves you feeling powerless.
In an effort to bring more peace to my day, and balance to my emotional well-being, I managed to find an amazing plugin called Word Replacer 2 for my Chrome internet browser. It allows you to pick any words that you would rather see less of and replace them with more uplifting ones, or any other word you that tickles your fancy. It is incredibly easy to use, and I will show you exactly how the process works below.
Step 1 – Search Word Replacer II in Google, or click the hyperlink I left for you!
Step 2 – Press the “Add To Chrome” green button. Check to see the Wr icon in the top right of the browser, and make sure it is enabled. Click the small block Wr icon and then click settings!
Step 3 – Replace whatever negative words that seem to be taking up far to much of your attention these days by pressing new. You can see from the picture below that I have become incredibly intolerant to seeing two words day after day! I replaced each word with something I thought would help me reframe the situation from annoyance to compassion whenever I came the name in a headline.
Step 4 – Check to make sure you have applied the word changes correctly by doing a quick Google search. As you can see below, it seemed to work extremely well for me!
