WHEN BUYING NEXT YOUR SUIT
The first thing you need to check when buying a suit off the rack is that it fits well in the shoulders.
The Tie and Lapel width should be the same – complementary in size !
Don’t allow for a gap between your collar and your lapel. It looks very cheap!
Double vents on the back are far more fashionable and slimming compared to a single slit.
Three Piece suits area a better choice for a formal look.
Make sure you can slip your hand between your chest and suit when buttoned up such that it feels snug but also comfortable.
Always remember to unbutton your suit before you sit down.
Keep your pants from falling off the hanger with the Savile Row Fold.
The top button of your two button suit should be just above the navel.
Always choose the Full Windsor, it signifies class.
Your shirt cuffs should extend about a half inch past your suit sleeve.
Make sure your tie is darker in colour than your dress shirt colour.
Always go for a dimple when fixing your tie.
Make sure your suit jacket is just long enough to cover your behind and matches your zipper length.
