Far too often the media can label hip-hop with death, drugs and people operating in life with a lack of moral fortitude. In an attempt to showcase the beauty of hip-hop, the team over at The Guardian has put together a brilliant mini documentary on the positive influence of the hip hop culture. Today we can all appreciate the beauty that comes from various groups of people coming together to express themselves through dance. Maybe next time you pass a b-boy or girl dancing down by the park or subway you might not be so quick to label them as thugs or degenerates and look to them as artists trying to do the best they can in life. In praise to my good friend Rakim, we might suggest to you not to “sweat the technique” and maybe even feed off of their zest for life.
