One of the most useful experiences I have had in Recovery has come as a result of me sitting down with a group of like-minded individuals, and studying the literature. The Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book was given its name not due to the physical size of the book, but because of the depth and weight of its contents.
I have had several strong mentors over the years help me to digest the first 164 pages and the 12 steps of AA, and realize how vital it is to have someone guide you through the process. I will always need that kind of mentorship on my spiritual journey. Because of this pandemic, it is that much more challenging to gather in a typical Big Book study, so I thought I would bring one to the comfort of your own mobile device through YouTube.
I am no audio/video expect, and realize the production quality could certainly be improved, but the videos were shot with my iPhone XR, so please try and focus on the contents of the book instead of the media (:
You are not alone anymore, and I will gladly answer any of your questions in the comment section below the videos, or shoot me a message directly on Instagram.
Much love, and good luck on your own spiritual journey.
