I personally love statistics, and probably always will. It is just how my mathematical mind makes sense of a lot of things in the world. I also find myself leaning on statistics during times of explanation and debate. Unfortunately, statistics are not always used in context, and can be used to lead the blind and ignorant very easily. By a show of hands, how many of you reading this right now thought the chances of having a baby after 35 was very slim? Okay great, that was probably 95% of you. You can put your hand down now (: Let’s remember that ignorance simply means a lack of knowledge, and not a rash judgment on your level of intelligence.

This very well thought through video will dispel any truthiness you hold in regards to having children later in life. If you are creeping up on 40, turns out you aren’t out of luck when it comes to having a child of your own.
