Many of you have read or heard the poem ” Our Deepest Fear” from the movie Coach Carter, but did you ever stop and ask yourself where the poem came from?
Not to worry, I have taken the time to track down the original author of the poem, Marianne Williamson. She is an incredible powerful woman, successful author, and mindset change coach. The poem “Our Deepest Fear” is taken from a passage in her book A Return To Love
, written in 1996.
OUR DEEPEST FEAR
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.
We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us;
It’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we’re liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
Many inspirational Youtube videos have used the speech given by Timo Cruz, a character in the movie Coach Carter without any indication of the real author. For another great video on inspiration, check out this video by Ray Lewis.

I had no idea it was from a totally different person. Thank you Kael !

which hosting company you’re working with? I’ve loaded your blog
in 3 completely different internet browsers and I must say
this blog loads a lot faster then most. Can you suggest a
good hosting provider at a fair price? Cheers, I
appreciate it!

October 2, 2014 #5 AuthorWoah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this
site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that
“perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual
appeal. I must say that you’ve done a awesome job with this.
Also, the blog loads super quick for me on Opera. Excellent Blog!
